The Bachelor of Technology in Engineering degree is awarded after completion of a 4 years (Eight Semesters) program. Before pursuing any line of education, or any potential career path, it’s always important to fully understand why you should be doing so. The same holds for engineering, and so in today’s educational and job climate, why should you become an engineer? There are many different reasons for beginning this journey, and ultimately it will be a rewarding experience in many ways One of the main reasons you should consider becoming an engineer is the diversity of potential jobs, and the industries in which you could potentially find yourself. 

Once you’re ready to enter the job market, you’ll find that engineers have an array of exciting career opportunities awaiting them. Many are at the forefront of technology and advancement, and work in a competitive, entrepreneurial style setting. Others work for the government, for private contractors and large corporations, or go into their own consulting work. There are also many nonprofit and public oriented engineering positions available.

The beautiful thing about the field of engineering, and the main reason why you should pursue becoming an engineer, is that engineering can be anything you make of it. With dozens of focuses and a huge spectrum of industries to work within, there’s no shortage of options. Job opportunities are plentiful and expected to rise, and engineers are highly paid, as well. Specialization

The M.Tech Engg programs in India are usually structured as an Engineering Research degree, a level higher to B.Tech.  M.Tech Engg programs in aim to produce Research Engineers who can also get the position of "Technologist" in the Industries and Research Institutes. In M.Tech you can select a specialization of your choice. 

1. You get time to think where things are going and how you can control them. Where do you want to go and what is your ultimate destination. 

2. You add a value to education and will definitely have benefit in the long run. As we are moving ahead in life our educational qualifications are becoming more and more important. At some point where all other competitors have same technical skills you will be given preference over others because of qualification.

3. You will get more insight into the subjects as this time you are mature enough to understand the subjects. 

4. You will have good friends who are similar to you and trying hard to move ahead in life. If your institute is good you will see all of them in high positions in future, their contacts may be good enough for you to start new projects and help many.

Specialization

College will help students in Internship which will provide hands-on real life work experience and enhance knowledge and skills of the candidate.
